Sitting in the midst of meadows, Lückendorf offers marvelous views over the Bohemian middle range mountains. It is located in the southern slope of the Zittau Mountains at an area between 500 – 550m above see level.
The village’s history goes back to the Gabler road, one of the oldest European routes of commerce.

The health resort Lückendorf is a recommended place to find recreation. In the unchanged landscape with healthy gentle climate and clean air everybody finds his or her place to relax.

The Lausche mountain is the highest peak of the Zittau Mountains. It reaches 793 m. From the top you have a beautiful view over the mountains in Czech Republik and Poland, but also over the nord-bohemian plateau.

Another special attraction in the Zittau Mountains are the various originally formed sandstone rocks, what have been given names like “Glove”, “Breeding Hen” or “Twins”.

There are plenty of opportunities for hiking and climbing in a lovely environment. However, Lückendorf has over 100 years of tourism tradition.
